August is Farmers Market Month in South Carolina. This month is a good time to appreciate the folks who make the markets possible. And if you're not acquainted with farmers markets, now is good time to visit one (or two) to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables and other items and fellowship with your neighbors and local producers.
