People to People of Hartsville will hold its annual MLK Commemorative Service on Monday, Jan. 20 at 12 noon at Kay Branch Baptist Church, 1801 N. The Carolina African American Heritage Foundation is hosting its Freedom Rally during Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend, Jan. 18 through 20, 2014. A weekend of events will include a Carolina talent search MLK tribute, a corporate and community awards breakfast, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade.
