Moved back to Conway 12 yrs. ago from Charlotte & would put yo:u on asap i got a signal for yrs. b4 that on my many trips from Charlotte to Conway, MB, even to my dads in Yaupon Bch., NC. You contine to bring me joy daily especialy when you play Lonnie Liston Smith, George Duke, The Jazz Çrusaders, Spyro Gyra & then yesterday afternoon you p
    layed Ronnie Laws Every Generation. I amost cried. On June 27, 1979 my friends & i had the 1st 2 rows, center. I( had a friend airbrush a saxafone on a t..shirt. On the back it read Ronnie Laws in the Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte, NC/ Every Generation Wellcome. I thru it onstage as he & band came out. A roadie picked it up & i couldsee them looking @ it. The oncore came & out comes Ronnie Laws wearing my shirt. He looked down 1 me, my & our group and waived his arms toward the front of stage. He pl Every Generation. That's why i almost cried. I did call my brother, sisters to share the joy. Thx 4 allowing me to share this 25 + year old memory that still gives me chills. P S still have the album.     Generation. I almost cried. You see, back in "79" i lived & worked summers thru Christmas & go back to pCharlotte winter. Short story, all my friends & i were/are jazz fans. We went to many, many shows. Ronnie Laws came to Ovens Auditorium June 27,1979. We had the front two rows center sec. I had a friend in MB paint q saxafone
